I had a great opportunity to sit down with Isiah Carey on the Isiah Carey Uncensored television program to discuss the pressing issue of the “Death of DEI.” During our conversation, I candidly shared my perspective on the deliberate attacks on diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, emphasizing how these actions directly restrict access and opportunities for Black people.
I highlighted a key observation: while many White and White-aligned individuals often support diversity in general, their comfort level shifts when racial diversity—particularly regarding Black people—becomes the central focus.
It was an important and thought-provoking discussion. I encourage you to watch and join the conversation!
Thank you for putting this information out there. Anti-blackness & White supremacy are both persistent and diabolically pervasive in its working and it never takes a rest. We can't afford to delude ourselves into a false sense of security and trust if we expect to survive.
