Donald Trump is the poster child for #FailingForward and #WhiteDeficiency. To anyone who's ever been in a management or leadership position, who would you hire from a job interview where the job candidate ineffectively reads from their resume or notes? Would you hire an applicant and a job candidate who could not follow a steady thread of coherent thought? Cogency?
And yet, in America, if one has #WhiteSkin (as they deem themselves as having such), the rules do not apply most of the time. And for many #WhiteMen, they do not apply at all!! In America, mediocrity and deficiency can land you in the White House as President of the United States, as long as you are #White.
This is an abhorrent reality!
The moral of this post is that #BlackPeople, stop holding yourselves accountable to higher moral and intellectual standards as compared to #WhitePeople. It is insane to believe that you are in a competitive reality with people who benefit from processes, systems, and cultural traditions rooted in #WhiteSponsorship and #WhiteAffirmativeAction.
#WhiteSupremacyIsReal and works to the benefit of constantly advantaging White people. Please let go of low confidence, unbelief, not feeling good enough. Most #WhitePeople could not compete with #BlackPeople in an actual “fair” system and culture.
The truth of the matter, after being in rooms with thousands of #WhitePeople who have continued to admit to me they have benefitted from #WhiteSponsorship and #WhiteAffirmativeAction, is that most #WhitePeople know and understand that everything I have written in this post is true.
This culture is not and never has been a culture for Black people, so DO YOUR BEST TO SURVIVE, but stop trying to fit in and/or beat yourself over the head for what you have not accomplished or achieved.
